Barry Bonds Indicted
Some people knew it was coming, some surprised but it’s official. The home run king Barry Bonds has been indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice. They claim he was lying under oath to the federal grand jury in December 2003. This came after a 4 year federal investigation. Four years is a long time, I’m surprised it took them that long to find enough evidence to start an indictment. Who knows what the outcome will be, being that it will probably take years to process the case. Given that the events first occurred four years ago I think it takes the luster out of whole thing.
